The SONET Academy Network (SAN) is a group of enthusiastic individuals, knowledgeable instructors, and committed drivers of the Liberia Grade School Computer Education Curriculum (L-GESCEC). It is an integral part of SONET Academy - an educational entity of Solution Network, Inc. (SONET).SAN and the GSCEC emerged from the idea of John Williams, who identified a pressing and well-defined need for enhanced technology education in Liberia. In today’s technology-driven world, Liberia faces a significant digital divide that threatens the prospects of its youth. This gap presents a formidable challenge, as many bright and capable students find themselves without access to structured, high-quality technology education that is critical for navigating and succeeding in a rapidly evolving job market.
